  1. What is the acceptance rate of this journal?

    The statistics from our first year of operation (July 2010-2011) are as follows: After the first round of peer review, 45.5% were rejected, 4.6% were accepted without modification, 13.6% were accepted with minor revisions, and 36.4% were asked to resubmit with major revisions

  5. What is the turn-around time for this journal?

    From our first year of operation (July 2010-2011) the average number of days between submission, peer-review and the first editorial decision, was 44 days. The average time for the second review process and decision was 16 days. The average time from receipt of the final paper to online publication was ~2 months.

  7. Do I have to pay a fee to publish my work in Akademeia?

    No.

  9. Why do Akademeia citations not have page numbers?

    In lieu of page numbers Akademeia assigns a unique electronic article (ea) number for each paper.
